Tools Used For Effective Learning 3: Edpuzzle

Edpuzzle is an online tool that is used for video editing and formative assessment. Teachers can edit, cut, reorganize the videos that are browsed from different platforms such as Youtube, TedX, and Khan Academy. unlike other video editing programs, Edpuzzle creates an environment that teachers can directly engage with students on a subject. In addition that teachers can add voiceovers, extra resources, and assessment questions to the videos they used so that they can get feedback from students which is useful for grading. Another thing is that teacher can share their content with each other via Edpuzzle, which means that there will be many ready-made videos that can be used or edited. When it comes to the use of Edpuzzle, it is quite easy. After setting up an account, you must create a space that is used for video editing. You can create your own video or select a video that is suitable for your subject from the platforms that we mentioned. After that, you can add different questions to the relevant points with your topic. The last thing that you must do is to assign the video that you prepared to the students. It would be useful to keep in mind that teachers can then check student progress in real-time as they work through the given videos and their tasks throughout.
