Virtual Reality

Hello, everyone! Today's topic is for the teachers who are open to innovation while teaching. So, we will talk about Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality is a computer technology used to create a simulated environment through head-mounted displays. Unlike the Virtual World, VR users don't be involved in virtuality by looking at a computer screen. Instead, They wear a head-mounted display and interact with 3D worlds. The major headsets of this technology are Oculus Rift, Oculus Go, Samsung Gear VR, and HTC Vive. As we all know, human beings are visual creatures. Their brain perceives what they see and what they feel. In order to increase the reality of the experiences as possible, Virtual Reality simulates many of the senses such as vision, hearing, touch, even smell. Besides, the user's eyes are located within the artificial environment, which makes people think that it is a convincing, real environment. Just like many other sectors, VR can be used in education to enhance learning. It has many benefits. For example, using VR in a classroom environment can encourage students to be more creative and spark their imagination. Moreover, while students learn complex topics such as geometry or geography, VR technology can help students understand them easily and enjoyably. However, the use of VR in education is not quite popular for some reasons such as its high costs.
